ANT-EK ant breeding products are printed using 3D FDM technology. This allows us to achieve features that are impossible to create in acrylic or concrete nests. The texture of the printing also allows the ants to maintain a proper grip, making them feel more comfortable.

Irrigation

We used an irrigation system in the nest, which is separated from direct contact with the ants by a printed mesh. This way you don't have to worry about your charges chewing through the sponge and leaving the nest, but at the same time ensuring constant access to fresh water. Just sprinkle the sponge with a few milliliters of water through the opening!

Connecting

Meter

In addition, you can connect a wireless moisture and temperature meter to one of the socket's main inputs. You can connect the device to your phone via Bluetooth and check what conditions are in your nest remotely. This is an ideal solution to ensure optimal growth conditions in your formicarium, whether you are a beginner or an experienced breeder.

Formicarium darkening

We have also introduced shading tiles that are compatible with our products. Since most ant species can't see the red spectrum of light, using a blackout tile made of clear red acrylic will allow you to watch the ants while keeping them calm. The ants will still feel like they are in their underground anthill!
